Had a great time at Tri Trang”
i had a such a lovely time in tri trang. although it rained throughout my 4 day stay in phuket, i think the people at tri trang just made my vacation a lovely and memorable one. really cannot think of anything that was unpleasant about the resort. great value for money - 3 decent size swimming pools, full western and chinese style breakfast buffet, helpful staff, safe and peaceful location. the resort is very well located at a 10min driving distance from patong and right at the beach. the shuttle bus runs to patong city and back 3 times a day at 11am, 3pm and 6pm. it was very convenient for us as we only went to town to get massages and to shop.

Small resort with private beach”
we (5 adults, 1 children & 1 baby) were staying in tri trang beach resort for only 1 night. we booked our 3 deluxe standard rooms late, but to our surprise, 2 of our rooms were upgraded free to spacious superior room after we checked into the resort. we were travelling at peak season period hence there were many guests checking in and out during the morning. though clearly short-handed, the front office staffs were able to pull off smooth operations with helpful and friendly services. however, if there is a simple welcome drink or hot towel, the first impression would have been memorable. the hotel beach is convenient but the beach benches were limited. it is a private beach hence it is not as busy as the crowded patong beach. however, the rocks in the sea prevent us from swimming further and were limited to only play at the shallow shore. the hotel provides free shuttle service to jungceylon mall in patong town. however, there are only 3 round-trips daily. so plan your itenerary well and be punctual for the shuttle ride. one may find that it is just another 3-star beach resort with limited character and uniqueness. in addition, there are many other similar resorts around phuket. because we wish to be around patong area but not in the busy patong town, tri trang beach resort is just nice. with the free room upgrades for my cost, i have nothing to complaint...

nice beach view ”
if you're looking for a hotel with a beach view, choose tri trang beach resort. i stayed here for 5 days, and arrived early in the morning of my 1st day of stay. the staff are polite and they even walked me all the way to my room in the basement. they have shuttle bus to transport the guest to a certain place, and the busses have pick up time also to bring you back to your hotel. if you want to pamper yourself for a massage, they offer different kinds of massage . tri trang also offers good thai food which we tried during our stay here. we'd love to go back to this hotel in the future and will definitely recommend tri trang beach resort to other friends.

Great value for the money”
You won't beat Tri-Trang Beach for value for money! It is situated 5 minutes by motorbike from Patong, the main shopping, eating and night-life area. You are away from the Patong madness but still close enough to go in and out several times a day if need be. The staff are friendly and helpful, the restaurant serves fresh food and is literally on the beach. The bay, the hotel is situated on is crystal clear and the sunsets are amazing. The room was large, cleaned daily and overlooked the bay. When I go back to Patong I will definitely stay at the Tri-Trang Beach again.

Fantastic trip to tri trang beach resort /Patong, this resort is 3 km"s from Patong town so was perfect for days at private hotel beach , spent 10 days here and loved every minute. The hotel staff were fantastic always friendly and helpful, food at beach bar was very good. Perfect for lazy beach holiday. This hotel has everthing you need , will definatly stay here again...

we absolutely loved our stay at tri trang! the location is just 1km south of patong beach - close enough to get there by hotel provided shuttle songatew free of charge, but isolated from the crazy chaos of patong. room was very large with a great view of the private (yes, i said private) beach which was very clean, safe and well maintained. breakfast was a delicious and vast assortment of thai and western food. we couldn't recommend this place enough, we will definitely stay here again if we come back to phuket!

Quiet hotel with private beach”
we stayed at tri trang for two weeks. first booking was made for just a week, but we liked the fact of private beach so much, that we decided to stay here for more. getting to patong center and back from the hotel is bit difficult cause the hotel free shuttlebus goes only three times a day. but as we decided to have our own transport (motoscuuter), it wasn't a really problem for us anymore. as it may rain a lot on september, it may be deifficult to drive around with heavy rain and roads may be slippery, you should be very careful! if you are forced to stay at the hotel at least a couple of days because of the rain, it may get little boring. but raining problems concerm probably more low season. there is a massage salon in hotel, but prices and quality is little better in patong. breakfast was also ok, but variety should be better. as we drowe around a lot, we got to try different opportunities for food.

Great budget choice for total relaxation”
the receptionists are extremely willing to help in any way they can. the sea is very clear and makes for great swimming experience. as of sept 2011 they are extending their resort but the construction did not affect the overall tranquility. the swimming pool is a plus factor too, there is a restaurant at the resort so don't worry if you need dinner after dark. the resort offers free shuttle trip to the nearest shopping mall (worth a visit) call "jung ceylung", the shuttle timing is 11am, 3pm and 6pm. as oppose to the frantic, messy patong beach, tri trang resort is a peaceful and serene experience altogether.

It was a pleasant trip. we booked for 3D2N via agoda for good deal. First day we spent in private beach. we booked Fanstasea show, travel to jamesbond island and Phi phi island for subsequent days in the fuji travel desk in resort. we got a good deal with airport transfer from asia peir. the staff was so friendly. the rooms were very clean and comfort. i would recommend for my friends visiting phuket. eventhough you will need extra 5 mins from potong, its worth for private beach and resort like environment. Good value for $$$”
I stayed at Tri Trang Beach resort for 3 days. Although it was about 10-15 minutes from Patong, the hotel provided free shuttle service 3 times a day to the bustling town for shopping, food and of course plenty of booze. Within the resort, you get a stunning view of the sea from the balcony. Even from the bathtub you could see the sea and the nearby islands. It was breezy and with a private beach, it was reclusive to spend quiet moment there. Breakfast was OK. Not many varieties but you get to overlook the sea and sound of waves as you gulp down your morning coffee. Great friendly staff too The resort is still undergoing facelift to add more rooms though when I was there I didnt hear any noise pollution. It was cheap as it was low season and I will definitely go back again.

Fantastic Resort .... Great location ...”
We were very impressed with Tri Trang, Fantastic location, very quiet & relaxing. (10 mins in taxi to Patong) Rooms were quite spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool & beach. Tri Trang is situated right on their Private beach for guests. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We will certainly return to Tri Trang .

Great value for money”
I really enjoyed my stay at the Tri Trang Beach Resort. the food was good, the location was good and the staff as well. The only downside was the sea; not really nice, but still good for a quick swim. With a 15 minutes ride you can go to Paradise beach, which is perfect. Will probably go back to this hotel next time.

lovely hotel room great location with agreat beach”
i had to cut short my trip due to familial issues but when i do get to go back to phuket i will be staying at the same hotel as i do like to be away from the din of the popular areas but not too far in case i want some company. tri trang has a scooter rental which was a great convenience as it got the entire island closer to you. the food was average but who stays for too long in their rooms as you always have patong beach for all your needs

hotel with friend security guards,friendly staff in the front desk ,breakfast not bad. quiet place. we have been to phuket 3 times and have stayed at many places . i think we have found our favourite place in phuket ,this second time stay in this resort . beautiful beach , lovely oceanview rooms and just far enough out of patong . the breakfast good and a great service at a great price.

Private beach with very good spa”
I really love this hotel because of private beach and very good spa. All rooms are sea view. There is fitness room also but I haven't tried it. Swimming pool is not much large. Food has good taste. You can have meal and drink in front of the beach but takes time for cooking and serving. There are 2 zones of spa, one is in building, and one is in front of the beach which I had a very good time with it. ^_^ The hotel is a bit far from Patong (about 1.5 km uphill) but I drove so no problem for me. I think the hotel has shuttle to Patong but I really don't know exactly about it. So if you're looking for quiet and relaxing hotel, I recommend this hotel.

Great hotel and a friendly staff”
Apon arrival we recieved a free room upgrade and were given two amazing drinks. The room was perfect, beautiful shower, comfortable bed, free wifi, and a balcony overlooking the private beach. Beach is quiet and hotel staff friendly. The girls in the massage parlor were awesome and fun. The restaurant was great and reasonably priced. The hotel offers 2 free shuttles a day to Patong but we somehow missed our shuttle back which worked out fine we just stayed and had dinner in Patong and took a Tuk Tuk back to our hotel later for only 200 Baht. The ride is about 5-10 minutes. If you want to do any sight seeing or tourist attractions plan on spending some money on a taxi to whatever it is you want to do and I would book ahead or go to Patong to book your tour as hotel was not very helpful with that. However there are lots of tour agencies in Patong and most offer free transport when tour is booked. Would definetly come back. Great, clean and beautiful private beach.

Amazing”
+ we stayed there 2 nights and got upgraded to a better room without asking for free on beach level with the best view on the sea, the shower was big, the room very clean, nice beach accessible from the hotel, the staff was really nice, the food was affordable and good, free shuttle at certain time to a popular mall near Patong beach, we rented a scooter next door for 250 baht a day with a 3000 baht deposit since we didn’t want to leave our passport and had no problems when we dropped it off the next morning, with a scooter it’s easy to get to the main beach (Patong) since the hotel is quite secluded and it’s a good 30min walk (2,5km) between curvy roads and big hills. - the bed was really hard, during low tide the beach is inaccessible since it’s full of corals (1-2 feets deep) so you can only swim from early morning to around 12-13pm and after 5:30-6pm, not an easy walk to Patong (big hills and no side walks), small pool. Very nice hotel overall

Great quiet location, great rooms.”
The Tri Trang is in a great quiet location about 7 minute Tuk Tuk ride from the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach. If you want something that is a bit away from the full-on ness of this place then Tri Trang is for you. Only negative is that the free shuttle services that Tri Trang provides are too infrequent to be relied upon for regular use so that you end up spending a bit of money on Tuk Tuks. .... Also you are on the side of a hill at Tri Trang which some people may see as a negative but this is more than made up for by the views and the beach and swimming pools are only ever an esculators ride away. 4/5.

Excellent spoilt by not allowing 2days in lieu ”
We really enjoyed our stay...excellent amenities, close to beach and very friendly staff. Our only gripe is the fact that we were unable to arrive until two days after we booked due to my wife's illness, necessitating us staying in our previous place of residence. The manager of Tri Trang would not budge on this fact and we lost our two nights, even though the hotel was nowhere near fully booked. We had emailed him well in advance telling him of my wife's illness. We were forced to pay for two extra nights ie. we paid for ten nights and stayed eight. This soured our view somewhat, but did not spoil our holiday.
