Veranda Resort style and comfort”

Veranda Resort and Spa is one of the more attractive resorts on the beach between Cha-am and Hua Hin, well away from the hustle and bustle but within easy reach of restaurants, shops and the night market when trips away from the resort are required - by means of a free shuttle bus. There is a range of accommodation, all well-appointed, clean and attractive. We were in the building at the back of the resort, away from the beach, but had a large veranda with jacuzzi and view of the sea - privacy and comfort on hand. Huge beds, flat screen tv with good range of cable programmes, well-stocked bar and bathroom all made for a very luxurious stay, though the fridge wasn't working properly and the fan (preferred to air con at night) was rather noisy. Buffet breakfast is lovely and staff were quick to notice that we prefer espresso machine coffee to jugs. By the end of our stay the machines were swapped round. There is a lovely pool with plenty of areas for different styles of user, good range of shade and sun and copious towels. Both restaurants serve excellent food, both western and thai and service is of exceptional standard. There are plenty of activities for those who would like to try Thai crafts, exercise, trips out, an extremely long and safe beach and very friendly locals. Most people cope with English.

Great for families!!”

We've stayed at many different hotels in this area, Cha-Am, Hua-hin, and Pranburi, and the Veranda Resort is the one we like and enjoy our stay the most. It is very well design not only for beauty, but also very practical. It's perfect for families with young children. The swimming pool is very nice with old big trees giving you natural shadings. The sand play area is there by the swimming pool so the kids can just go back and forth and can be there for hours. The beach is very nice and clean. I woke up early in morning to do some yoga by the swimming pool. And that I had my special Sun Salutation, right there where I raised up with the sun, and when I did forward bend, looking back to see the moon, above the resort the other side.

An oasis”

The Veranda is situated between cha An and Hua Hin. To get to either of these places is a taxi journey of about 15 mins. Hue Hin is busy and a bit seedy. Cha Am is quiet but not much going on. There was therefore not any cause to leave the hotel which felt like an oasis. However an improvement could be to have some draught beer rather than just bottles.

Terrific pool, super breakfast, great beach”

We loved the pool. We loved the beach. We loved breakfast. There is a terrific water park close by - Black Water Mountain Taxis are dodgy - no meters, negotiate prices before hand. We paid something different every time we went to Hua Hin. About 10 min to Cha Am, 15 min to Hua Hin. We ate lunch most days on the beach just outside the hotel. Delicious and cheap.

Private beach”

Hotel is located in Cha Am and about 20km to Hua Hin. If you want the sea view book a normal deluxe room as the Jacuzzi and Pool Room are in different buildings and no sea view. Room are big and spacious. Breakfast was just ok. menu changed daily which was good. Food prices were reasonable. Need a car to get around as the hotel is tucked away with no nearby shops.

Please advise van driver to drop you off at "PJ Ga”

I get off a train at Hua Hin in the evening and I barely took the last van from Hua Hin to Cha Am. The van driver just dropped me off at the Cha Am city center intersection then gone. Then I need to take a motormike "taxi" to the hotel. It's kind of dangerous to ride a motorbike on a highway in 100km/h, without putting a shield on my head. As advised by the hotel reception, please advise van driver to drop you off at "PJ Gas Station" (spelling?) nearby the resort - if I'm going to there next time. I booked a room with jacuzzi but the jacuzzi is on the balcony where facing the street. So I need to wait until everybody have gone sleeping around 3am to try the jacuzzi. If I'm going to there next time, I think booking a basic standard room is fine enough.

The Veranda Hua Hin ”

The Veranda Resort and Spa is the one of my choice when I had a vacation. The nature of hotel is quiet and cozy. The design is unique and made the hotel different from typical Hua Hin hotels. Sitting or lay down on the chair and then relax, listening to the bird sound was heaven for me. My feeling when I stayed there was similar to living in my own home. I love the pool on the ground floor. It made me feel like having a river beside me. The staffs are absolutely friendly. They provided the best service all the time. The amenities in the bath is a Thai brand name "Thann", and is chosen in shower rooms of Business class lounge of Thai airways in Suvanabumhi airport. The wonderful breakfast is available with variety of choices like continental and local Thai style breakfast. When I slept on the chair close to the beach, I felt fresh air and relaxing is a way to remove oxidative stress away from my body. I spent all my time using the facilities provided at the hotel instead of finding any places to go while I stay in Hua Hin for my vacation.

Wonderfull trip with Veranda Resort and Spa Hotel”

Veranda Resort & Spa at Hua Hin is a wonderfull hotel which such a perfect for family with childrens. There is very nice swimming pool with slider. The sight seeing of this hotel is perfect. You can share fun in the sea or pool in the same time. At restaurant you can joint the nice food with good taste. The hotel staffs are very nice and kindness. We are pleased on thier service. For the room is beautifull with good smelling and cleaness. You can see the swimming pool on your room. We like this hotel we will come back later for sure.

One of the high standard resorts in hua-hin.”

The thing that i like most goes to the standard of the business. Veranda Resort & Spa offers customers with good decoration, Clean room, service-minded staffs (People such as parking security, front desk staffs, room maids, restaurant staffs, room service staffs, and etc are all friendly. Staffs always look in your eyes and smile, say hello. I reserved the @sea room type and when i was there, they gave me 3 choices of rooms that give different types of views, then i selected my best one which made me so happy. During the stay i can walk around and take pictures any where i want and staffs also helpful. also the welcome drink, fruit basket, good night cookies were impressed. It seemed they have a really good team work. The breakfast also really good, various types of quality and delicious food offered. I wanted to eat them all but it's impossible. Bathroom is big and nice. Swimming pool is better than many hotels in Hua-hin. The room is too fit. Sometime, it seems too small. But it depends. The parking space is not my problem but i think it is too limited and there will be a problem if there are just little more cars come.

Stylish Veranda Resort is a cool chill out place”

The veranda resort is a very nice chil out place to relax in comfortable surroundings with good service and excellent pool and beach area. Great for people that want a relaxing quiet holiday away from the hustle of Cha am and Hua Hin. Rooms are good and food is good. It will take you a good 15 mins maybe a little more in traffic to reach Hua Hin centre and maybe just 10 mins for Cha am.

Nice hotel, great pool and lovely beach”

I spent a night at veranda during the weekend. The room is clean and it is between Cha-am and Hua hin. If you want private brach that is not too crowded, I would recommend this hotel.

Good hotel on beachfront”

we enjoyed our stay here but disappointed that it is not in hua hin as advertised but cha am 25 kms away. our room was excellent and the swimming pool interestingly designed. breakfast provided a good choice and was of excellent quality. we were less impressed with other meals. there are quite good walks along the beach in both directions.

Heaven in Hua Hin”

We travelled for three weeks in Thailand and spent the last few nights at the Veranda in Hua Hin. It was heaven. The hotel is beautiful, really fits the definition of "boutique", but it was all very low key. Spectacular setting, comfortable/beautiful rooms/premises. We had a "sea view" room which was ground level, stepped right out on the pool, and out to the beach. Really spectacular.

Great pool on a quiet beach”

the veranda resort is located along a relatively quiet stretch of cha-am beach, about 20 minutes from downtown hua hin. the hotel has a lovely pool area, though it can get a bit noisy at times. the hotel attracts many families with children, both foreign and thai. there are two things to watch out for: 1. most of the regular rooms are in two blocks which face each other across a water feature. the rooms have large glass windows, so there is absolutely no privacy (all the way back to the shower and toilet area) unless you close the blinds. the rooms have no curtains, only full blackout blinds. so it's a choice between sunlight or privacy! 2. the hotel is quite far from the main road, and there aren't many shops or restaurants around. so unless you have a car the dining options are pretty limited.

Relaxing Trip”

Friendly staff, nice accommodation, various kind of breakfast, 3 mins from hotel to beach! You can enjoy massage and Thai food on the beach! Cha Am is a serence place to relax. Just a friendly remind Cha Am is lack of "Money Exchange", so please bring enough Thai Baht before you go there.

Good location, good resort, fair price”

We stayed in the Jacuzzi room for 3 nights. Very nice room indeed, good size, nice styling, good aircon. Clear highlight of the resort is the pool area though with its infinity look that falls off right on the beach. The food is quite good and decently priced for a hotel. Happy hours for drinks are part of the game and offer good value for money. While the beach is probably the best in Hua Hin, it is not as white and smooth as at some of the other destinations in Thailand. Overall, I can fully recommend this resort as one of the best value for money options in Hua Hin / Chaam.

Vacation at Veranda Resort and Spa”

Veranda is great for their decoration. The resort gives the feeling of resting at home; great for both family vacation, and lover's vacation. The decoration is sooo nice and the room is so comfy. Surrroundings of Veranda is also splendid! I really love the pool and the bar by the sea. I am really confident that I shall return to Veranda for my next vacation.

Best choice at Hua Hin”

I have a very good time with my family during my stay at Viranda. Especially Ms.Rattikarn who prepared a surprise cake for my husband and decorated Birthday Message with flower on the bed. I will stay at this hotel agin for the next visit at Hua Hin

Great place for short break on the beach”

Overall it's a great place for relaxing on a short break for couple of days. Resort is right on the beach, room is well mantain and clean. Combine with good services and very helpful staffs, it's just great. But it's quite far away from Hua Hin town / market place (about half-hour driving), if you do not have your own car, I would suggest you to rent a car for one day and visit Hua Hin market and few other attraction around the area for one day rather than taking the shuttle services by the hotel to the market which the fee for that alone is probably more than half of one-day car rent already.

Wonderful hotel”

We had a good time at the hotel :) Perfect for relaxing, however for activities I recommend Hua Hin instead, or central Cha-Am.
