“Decent beach but not going back”
Booked for 2N but left after 1N. The resort is huge, private beach, nice pool but the buildings and facilities seem old and crumbling. Our room was kinda clean but the furniture is old and the bathroom has many steps, weird layout, not clean. No wifi, poor phone reception in the room. Ombak room has no aircond which made it so stuffy at night that we could not really sleep. As it was hot, at 3am husband decided to go out to enjoy some cool night air. It was then that we realised a snake was already halfway into our room, under the door. He ran to the reception area to get help, but to our surprise, it was locked, no staff in sight. Had to remove the snake himself. I couldn’t sleep at all after that, worried about our safety, especially having a small child with us. We decided to leave the next day. The staff was sympathetic, they understood our predicament and refunded for the balance 1N. Please be careful, we also saw some tebuan going in and out of the soil areas in front of the Ombak block.
