Wonderful place to stay”

Friendly staff, rooms very clean, cutesy little snacks at the front lobby, and very close to the beach. We stayed at one other place in Ao Nang and wished we had just stayed at Wakeup AoNang Hotel the entire time. Such a great experience. Would definitely recommend!

Best Place You Can Get in a Budget”

This is my most favorite place from my thailand Trip! Even though it was a dorm, it had all the amenities of a 4 star hotel. Just a few minutes away from the Ao Nang beach, very close to shops and restaurants in Ao Nang area. The cleanliness was superb, beds were cozy and there were large cabinets were you can put your luggage. The lobby has nice seating arrangement, where you can chill with a cup of coffee/hot chocolate and snacks (both are complementary). I would love to go back again! However, don't book day trips or ferry from them, the hotel staff is a bit rigid on the price, and they are quite overpriced. There are many shops just outside the hotel, where you can book day trips/ferry at a reasonable price.

Best Budget friendly hotel in awesome location”

I stayed there two nights with my husband.The location is super awesome.Only 2 mins walk to Ao nang beach.Room was big & clean.They have separate area for Bathing.Balcony has good for view either for mountain or sea.The best thing about this hotel is they offer the guest unlimited water,coffee & different types of Cookies at any time of your stay.The hotel has a access to swimming pool of krabi tipa resort just behind that hotel.There is money exchange shop just in front of this hotel which gave us the best rate we found,,Overall ,nice stay & worth spending.

Excellent hotel, highly recommended!”

Stayed for 3 nights. Very convenient with a 7-11 right opposite and many restaurants and cafes all around. Walk further out for Ao Nang Beach and even more restaurants. Hotel offers tours like island hopping at affordable rates, or simply head out to the many tourism booths nearby to ask for prices (must haggle at least half the original price). Lobby has a big table, snacks and water for refilling. Staffs are quite nice in answering our questions too. Just that the down side is that the walls are rather thin and I could hear people next door talking and watching videos at 3am in the morning and we could not sleep for the whole night until we told them to lower their volumes. Sound insulation should improve. Or you hope that there are no inconsiderate people staying near you. WC, sink and showers are all separated so 3 people can use them all at the same time, thus saving us a lot of time when 4 of us stay together in 1 room. Bed is comfy, aircon is good. Quite spacious.

Wow !”

That hotel was just amazing! The value for money is amazing. The facilities are excellent, the staff is super friendly and helpful. They can also do your laundry for 70 THB /kg otherwise there is a self-service washing machine for 40 THB. The room is so comfortable, I was a solo traveler and booked a double bedroom, everything was sparkling clean and the bed was excellent. Last but not least the location is awesome. It's very close to Aonang beach like less than 2 min walk, plenty of restaurants nearby for a small or big budget. There is also a night market nearby. At the waterfront, you can find a longtail boat service to go to small islands which is cheaper than all the other boat tours. On the last day, I also realized that the hotel was doing some hot deal/promotion tours. Prices were looking great, maybe ask for some advice at the reception (900THB f 4 island hopping, very good bargain). I would come back for sure !

Amazing ! ”

I stayed in the 4 bedrooms for females only during one week, it was really great ! the staff is really nice, the rooms are very very very clean (never seen that), we have access to the swimming pool and gym of the tipa resort just beside the hotel. The hotel is at 2min by walk to the beach ao nang, Such the best hotel at this price. Facilities are incredible for this price. I truly recommend this hotel. Don't hesitate !

Great place to stay in Ao Nang area”

My 4th time to Krabi so I knew about the perfect location of the hotel already before booking. Was surprised that the place especially the room look even better than I thought once checked in. (1,000THB deposit) A bit on the location, it's right on the main street of Ao Nang so Starbucks, 7-11, massages, pharmacy, everything is very near. Some 3-5 min walk to the beach. Free coffee and biscuits a nice plus. Basic breakfast served at sister hotel a bit further from the street but still close by. Coffee, juices, eggs, ham, bread, salad, and some Thai stir-fried menus. Not bad. The room itself is clean and well-maintained. Separate toilet and shower room, which is nice and not easy to find for such price. A small rack to hang you clothes. A very compact hairdryer, ladies with long hair will not like it much. Wash basin is right in your room. Bit strange but doesn't cause any problem. Balcony is spacious enough to chillax. Tiny minus is the rather old, frayed towels. That's all.

Excellent hotel”

Hotel is beautiful, very near to Ao Nang beach but it is a bit far from Ao Nang mosque. Muslim food can get easily nearby mosque but area hotel also have and 7-11 also do have a lot of Halal food. But no worries because in front of hotel have the motorcycle or tuk tuk you can get easily. Hotel have lifts but you need to use stair before can get to the lobby. Location is excellent and room is clean and good. I got the room with the view of Ao Nang streets and shops. Pool and gym is at Tipa resort which is located behind this hotel. Everything is fine and Krabi was great for me.

Best place to stay in Ao Nang”

Wakeup Ao Nang is the best place to stay! It's very close to the beach/pier, walking street shops and restaurants. There are money changers and tour agencies as well. Also, I'm amazed that there are Filipino staff too. Mabuhay!

Great hotel!”

It was a great hotel, comfortable and really in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang so absolutely great location. We took a tour from the front desk and it was great too! However, we had ants in the room (we didn't alert the front desk because it really was not a big deal to us) but other than that it was great!

Exceptional”

Very close to Ao Nang beach. Staff were very friendly. Access to beach, restaurants and activities nearby. Hotel guests can access the pool at the Krabi Tipa Resort, which is in the same campus. Convenient location.

Clean and comfy ”

The quality of this hotel was evident from the minute we walked up. The building is only a year old and still in immaculate condition. We originally booked a room on the 3rd floor with a garden view. The staff were not only friendly, but they upgraded us to a top floor room with an ocean view for no extra charge. Their English wasn't great but they were trying their best and that was greatly appreciated. The rooms were very clean and well thought out. The overhead shower was amazing!! Beds were quite comfortable compared to other "high ebd" hotels we have stayed in here in Thailand. The location is close enough to the beach, but far enough from the nightlife noise. Very close to the 8.98 Cafe which is a must for safe, delicious food. We are currently back for a second night after a very uncomfortable stay in Railay where were both got good poisoning. Wake Up Aonang is absolute comfort away from home you can trust. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Well done Wake Up

Fun, Bright & Refreshing”

Pulling up to Wake Up you immediately realize it’s only a 2 minute walk to the beach which is a huge bonus. The hotel has a fun modern pop-art vibe to it, and the staff are extremely friendly and know the area well. My room was very clean, and I love the special touches they have for guests! Bottled water, flip flops, beach towels, and umbrellas waiting for your use. I highly recommend this place, and know I will stay here if I return to Ao Nang again!

Perfect for short stay & strolling around Aonang”

It's a perfect hotel to just drop your bags, go Island hopping, shopping, massage and come back to shower & sleep. Within walking distance to Aonang beach, 7E (just opposite), halal food (next door) & souvenir shops. We felt very much welcomed when arrived. But be prepared with 1000baht cash or they will retain one passport for deposit until you check out (came as surprise as no mention in web) .They have a 24/7 hot coffee, water refill & biscuits station which is perfect for afternoon or midnight snack. Pool is shared with another hotel (Tipa Hotel), not a problem as we didn't bother swimming after the Island tours. Laundry room available 24/7 for 40baht/session (buy detergent at 7E, but no dryer, dry at balcony, no ironing) or complete laundry service for 70baht/kilo for next day (express $$$). Wifi was excellent overall. Limited English tv channels but had at least one for other languages. Overall value for money and we couldn't be much happier.

Amazing location ”

Amazing location 5 minute walk to the beach if not less , you can literally see the beach once you exit. Over all a prime location about 6 min walk from center point where all the bars and night life is. Minutes from so many restaurants and 1 minute walk away from two 7/11. The hostel is very clean and the staff is very helpful and nice. The hostel is partnered with the resort next door and you can used there pool. There is also a gym on site. Free towels are given daily for the pool and beach. Also free coffee , tea and cookies available in the lobby 24/7 Overall I really enjoyed my stay I stayed in the female dorm room with 3 other girls . I prolong my stay the entire time I was in Ao Nang it was probably the most stylish , up to date and bathrooms I have found during my month of backpacking Thailand.

Hotel is newly built and near to Ao Nang beach. Booked deluxe room and the room is spacious. Room comes with balcony. The king size bed is comfortable. You need to climb the stairs up to get to the hotel lobby so probably not convenient for travellers with elderly. No breakfast provided but it is Super convenient to get good outside.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND”

The hotel located at the center of Aonang, within 5mins walk distance to the beach. Nearby got a lot of souvenir, massage shop and Restaurant. Busy area but the hotel area is quite and relaxing. The location is definitely an additional point to made mine choose to come back this hotel during next visit. As for the hotel facilities, they have lift in the building, chill area with free coffee, snack and water dispenser just beside the lobby. Also have another outdoor chill area for smoker. Toiletries is available in the double room, with Hair dryer, shampoo, bath towel, slippers, cotton bud, shower cap, kettle, fridge, a lot of hangers and etc! I love this hotel very much. The staff are very polite and friendly as well.

Great Location, Nice staff”

if you plan to stay in Ao-Nang area, I definitely recommend this hotel! you can walk to Ao-Nang Beach, Bars, Restaurants, Massages, etc. you won't need a motorbike. room was clean and enough for 2 ppl. toilet is in separate room from bathroom. staff can speak english very well and helpful. they also have like waiting area so you literally can sleep while you waiting for the room. strong wifi signals. free coffee and snacks 24/7.

Excellent Location”

Excellent location about 3 mins walk to the Ao nang beach and there's a 7-11 just across the street! The hostel is very new and very clean with a super comfortable bed. Although you don't really need to cook when you're in Thailand I still feel like there will be perfect if the living room area could be equipped with some kithenware like cups and glasses, or bowls for cereal.

Close to Beach & Shopping”

Location is very near to Aonang Beach & walking street. Lots of massage places nearby and lots of nice restaurant nearby. Motorbike rental is just next door, and public transport to Krabi Town is just outside the hotel. Great place to stay.
